The Vision --------------- The vision of HSSTCM is to be a catalyst for scientific and technological excellence in the field of Condensed Matter and Materials Science in Greece. To serve the respective Greek communities with vigor and responsibility, in Greece and worldwide. Our Objectives --------------- The objectives of HSSTCM is to promote the exchange of new developments and achievements in the field of Condensed Matter and Materials Science, and to support their applications. Means of achieving the objectives --------------- The Society’s objectives are achieved by organizing seminars, conferences and workshops. This promotes the interaction of Greek research teams conducting research on Condensed Matter and Materials Science both at home and abroad. Promoting the participation of young researchers in this field is done through awards of excellence and financial support for their participation in the National Conference on Solid State Physics and Materials Science. Information on activities and jobs related to Condensed Matter and Materials Science as well as related events can be found periodically in newsletters published by HSSTCM.
