HUB Suzano

Hub Suzano emerges as a collaborative, non-profit initiative, with the mission to promote an entrepreneurial and innovative culture from Suzano, SP, for the development and social transformation of Suzano and the region. Suzano is located in the eastern region of Greater São Paulo, about 40 km from the center of the capital, in the region known as Alto Tietê, which also includes the municipalities of Arujá, Biritiba-Mirim, Ferraz de Vasconcelos, Guararema, Guarulhos, Itaquaquecetuba, Mogi das Cruzes, Poá, Salesópolis, Santa Branca, Santa Isabel. With a population that already exceeds 308 thousand inhabitants (IBGE, 2020), the municipality has large companies, with emphasis on the industrial hub, especially in the chemical sector, as well as paper and cellulose, a very active trade, together with the sector of services and agricultural production, especially horticultural products. In higher education, there is the presence of the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology - IFSP Campus Suzano, which houses one of the network's 5 incubators in the state of São Paulo and offers technical and higher education courses in the areas of Administration, Industrial Automation, Chemistry, Chemistry Industrial. There is also UniPiaget, part of the Piaget Institute, of Portuguese origin, with several undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas such as Administration, Management, Systems Analysis and Development, Accounting Sciences, Law, Health, and Engineering, among others. There are also SENAI and ETEC, reference centers for our young people's technical training.
