HRM TMSS

Thengamara Mohila Sabuj Sangha (Bengali: ঠেঙ্গামারা মহিলা সবুজ সংঘ, TMSS) is a leading female headed non government organization in Bangladesh and South Asia. It was initially founded in 1964 and reformed by Prof. Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, Ashoka Fellow, in 1980 in Bogura, Bangladesh. Bogura district is also known as the historical and cultural capital of South Asia stemming from the ancient civilization of the Pundra Kingdom (Sanskrit: Puṇḍravardhana). TMSS is a women focused Bangladeshi organization working for alleviation of poverty, Women Empowerment through Skill Training and Micro Credit Support, human rights and social justice, advocacy and campaign, climate change and environment, Disaster Preparedness activities, health. TMSS aims to alleviation poverty through capacity building of target people as well as empowering women. TMSS has established department of Human Resource Management and Administration (HR-M & Admin) for ensuring the activities like staff acquisition, evaluation, data & file management, disciplinary & administrative issues, benefit & separation as well as overall staff management so that organization can play vital role for socio-economic development of the country. For this, HRM & Admin plays strategic and operational role in managing employees as well as proactive working environment. HRM & Admin mainly works in two separate parts-one is Human Resource Management and another is Administration. HRM & Admin aims to create a proactive environment where all employees can demonstrate their talent and innovation. Besides, HRM & Admin has established a unique system of employees’ recruitment and selection as well as annual basis performance evaluation and data preservation. To contribute the best afford of departmental staff, HRM & Admin prepares an Annual Action Plan for every financial year (July to June) by a participatory planning workshop in considering demand of organization.
