Humans Of Queer

Humans Of Queer was launched in June of 2021, as a celebration of the Pride Month, to celebrate the average queer person's humanity and everyday life. The story: Over the years we’ve realized that although there are many LGBTQIA+ icons’ stories celebrated over various media, there’s a dearth of stories that make the average queer person’s life. And sometimes, that’s all an anxious, confused, or uncertain queer person needs to witness - the possibility of a regular life. HumansOfQueer.com aims to fulfil this gap, and present a diverse set of life stories lived by unique people in unique and not-so-unique ways. Real stories have the power to transform perspectives, nourish mindsets, provide hope, and change lives. Apart from the power of stories, we also deeply believe in the power of storytelling. Whether it's your basic story of leading a 'normal' life as a queer person, one of many dilemmas and struggles, or one of triumphs and happy endings, share it with us and we’ll share it with the world. There is great strength in owning one’s identity and story. The stories published on the platform aim to offer hope, inspiration, and a sense of normalcy and belonging.
