Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia began as a vision of providing non-hospital, independent hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients that would benefit from the treatments. By avoiding the additional costs that are part of the Hospital Outpatient Department setting, our patients can get comprehensive treatment for wounds and other conditions that benefit from hyperbaric therapy for less than being treated in the HOPD setting. We have been accredited by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society since the beginning of the program in 2000, evidencing a commitment to providing the highest level of care possible. Joint Commission has a complementary agreement with UHMS, making it one of only 4 organization who are so designated. All our centers were accredited with distinction in 2017.
