HBOT Consulting Services was started after 30+ years of helping top notch organizations expand their reach and/or maximize their programs. More than 5 years ago, I discovered the world of HBOT for neurological injuries because of a well-respected family physician and my main client, HOW Foundation of South Florida. After conversations with some of the veterans and athletes and others HOW has helped recover from their brain injuries through providing access to hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), I took a "deep dive" into this area. Coincidentally, I received a mild concussion from a car accident and was treated within 3 weeks with 5 sessions of HBOT which added to my positive impressions. Since then I have avidly researched other diagnoses where there is evidence of HBOT's efficacy. My father was the first cardiovascular surgeon in Stamford, CT (back in the day when the heart was the new frontier in medicine), I grew up on the "leading edge of medicine" along with all the challenges and triumphs involved. A fascination for group dynamics and how the human brain affects the quality of peoples' lives led my BS in Pysch from SUNY, as well as grad courses in education. As the founder of HBOT Consulting Services, I continue to research and learn as much as possible about this exciting branch of medicine. Along with my team, I help well-respected patient-centered clinicians and organizations expand their practices in areas outside of South Florida. We are especially interested in helping to expand and/or develop practices in New England and Wyoming but are open to other locations, especially with all the remote technology existing today.
