iamHeart provides professional training in the method and application of Heart Rhythm Meditation, through mentoring, online courses, group retreats, private retreats, local classes, and iamU: The University of the Heart. iamU is a two-year, part-time, comprehensive curriculum that includes a combination of all the above listed learning formats.
Our Method
Heart Rhythm Meditation causes a shift in attention and breath rhythm to create a physiological connection between the nervous, endocrine, respiratory, and circulatory systems, literally uniting the heart, mind, and body. Heart Rhythm Meditation yields physical, mental, and emotional benefits.
Our Organization
We are iamHeart: The Institute for Applied Meditation on the Heart. iamHeart is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The institute was founded in 1988 by Puran and Susanna Bair, who combine their backgrounds in psychology, theater, science, and business. iamHeart is now led by a diverse group of teachers trained to help you improve your health, relationships, and purposeful accomplishments.
