The Integrative Biology and Biotechnology Laboratory gathers Professors, Researchers and Students from FCUP/REQUIMTE. It gathers experts in physiology, biotechnology, transcriptomics, metabolomics and phenomics towards improving plant performance and valorizing crops and forest species and studying the performance of cells/organisms under stress. At iB2 Lab, we combine ultimate techniques using in vivo and in vitro systems.
It has currently two main research lines specialized in Biotechnology and Breeding and Performance under Stress, each coordinated by senior researchers.
