IBIOS - Instituto Biosfera

IBIOS is a grassroot nonprofit organization focused on nature conservation and restoration, social development, and environmental education. We are based in the heart of the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest, in one of the last well preserved and unprotected remnants of this biome, working on projects in partnership with other NGOs, government and local communities to raise awareness of the importance to protect the forest and the biodiversity, as well as to implement conservation and restoration initiatives in the region. We use digital and information technology as a tool to educate, to monitor projects and to ensure positive outcomes for our initiatives.
