ICMA Digital Academy

The Institute of Cost & Management Accountants in Pakistan (ICMAP) was established in 1951 and was granted statutory status under the Cost and Management Accountants Act of 1966 to regulate Cost and Management Accountants in Pakistan. ICMAP is a professional body for Cost and Management Accountants in Pakistan. It awards the Associate Cost and Management Accountant and Fellow Cost and Management Accountant designations. ICMAP is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), as well as a member of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants and the South Asian Federation of Accountants. ICMAP has partnered with The FinTech Group, a UK-based specialist venture development, and project management firm, to establish ICMA Digital Academy as its digital skills development arm. ICMA Digital Academy is incorporated in the UK. Our ambition is to play a pivotal role in enhancing the digital skills of accounting & finance professionals and business managers. Additionally, we aspire to motivate the top quartile of young adults in Pakistan to develop their careers in the jobs of tomorrow that can enhance national economic productivity and increase the country’s digital exports. ICMA Digital Academy’s mission is to develop job-ready workforce of the future with globally in-demand digital skills to support digital modernization in Pakistan and help expand the country’s digital exports. ICMA Digital Academy has three strategic objectives: - Lead the digital upskilling of accounting professionals in Pakistan to enhance their professional effectiveness in tomorrow’s world. - Help improve national economic efficiency through digital transformation by enhancing governance and digital skills in the banking & finance, private corporate, government & public sector entities. - Establish digital technologies as a preferred professional career path for promising young adults to cause an increase in the country’s digitally skilled annual talent flow
