IDCERT is part of the broader process of modernisation directed towards the 'knowledge society' as already advocated by the European Community, and thus fits into its strategic framework of education and training. We know that being a citizen of this age means being able to respond to the challenges of an increasingly rapidly changing system. Knowledge and competence are the main tools for responding to this pressing need for adaptation. Digital competences, in particular, will increasingly constitute the pivot to which one's competences can be pivoted in any sphere, be it work, study or even just personal growth. IDCERT responds to these needs with its online and residential courses, through its network of Competence Centres. A range of courses has just been created but is already expanding rapidly, from basic to intermediate, advanced and professional levels. They are recognised at national and European level (MIUR, Accredia) and are structured according to the most advanced European standards such as DigComp 2.2 and e-CF 3.0. The intuitive and high-performance IDCERT platform allows Spid user identification and recognises, among others, the new payment channels such as18app and Carta del Docente.
