Ideeea Therapeutics is a Spanish biotech start-up focused on advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), aiming to address diseases with limited therapeutic options. Our current research projects focus on regenerative medicine and immunology, with a long-term vision of expanding into other high-impact therapeutic areas such as oncology. At Ideeea Therapeutics, we believe in the transformative power of science. Our mission is to investigate and develop disruptive ideas into new research lines in the field of ATMPs. We follow an open innovation model through strategic partnerships with leading public and private hospitals and research centers, integrating the entire value chain and driving the development of advanced therapies from early research to manufacturing, under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Ideeea Therapeutics was founded by a team of senior healthcare executives from FARMALIDER, a Spanish pharmaceutical company with a strong track record in the development of prescription drugs, OTC products, and value-added formulations for the international B2B market. The project is led by Marisa Berenguer, CEO of FARMALIDER, and José Ángel Sánchez, PhD, Innovation Director at Ideeea Tx. Our first major milestone is AGAcell®, a preclinical research program exploring the intradermal administration of a patented formulation based on allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells combined with a bioactive molecule, as a potential investigative approach in the field of androgenetic alopecia. Ideeea Therapeutics is currently evaluating AGAcell® as a potential cell-based investigational strategy aimed at restoring the follicular microenvironment and promoting hair regeneration through a minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure. The program is led by Principal Investigator Dr. Eduardo López Bran, PhD, an internationally recognized dermatologist in the field of trichology and Head of the Dermatology Department at Hospital Clínico San Carlos in Madrid.
