INTRODUCTION IDLCare is situated on the 5th floor of SL Raheja hospital. Spread over an area of 4000 sq.ft, the Institute is planned with the idea of providing holistic and humane care to patients with all kinds of digestive and liver problems, in a cozy ambience. We have a comprehensive array of World renowned experts including gastroenterologists, hepatologists, endoscopists, surgeons, intensivists, pathologists and radiologists. HISTORY The department of Gastroenterology was established at the SL Raheja Hospital in 2003. Over the past 15 years, it has served thousands of patients and has distinguished itself especially in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures and emergency control of GI Bleed. It has hosted several international conferences and CME for educational purposes and published several research papers. With the ever expanding need for digestive and liver care, and proliferation in endoscopy procedures, it became necessary to house the department in a larger area with the aim to provide a more comprehensive array of services in comfortable surroundings. Thus the IDLCare was born.
