Integrative Design Solutions

Founded by Kanagaraj Ganesan, IDS addresses energy security in the built environment, offering expertise in 'Policy Implementation & Advocacy,' 'Research & Applied Consulting,' and 'Knowledge Dissemination.' We collaborated with central, state, and local governments, and stakeholders to implement the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) across Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, and Kerala. Our services include code notification, building bye-law revision, technical support for energy-efficient buildings, and Schedule of Rates (SoR) revision. IDSPL’s multi-disciplinary team of architects, planners, and engineers uses cutting-edge tools to deliver design interventions focused on self-sufficiency, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. We optimise building envelopes, design circadian lighting, and create energy-efficient HVAC systems. Our integrated design charrettes maximise energy savings at minimal cost. We also provide customised capacity-building modules on Building Physics, ECBC, energy simulation, lighting design, and HVAC design, tailored to meet the needs of various target groups.
