IEEE Student Branch at ASU

The IEEE Student Branch at ASU holds the distinction of being one of the oldest and most prominent professional and technical student organizations on campus. Situated in the IEEE Phoenix Section of Region 6, our branch has garnered numerous accolades over the years, recognizing our commitment to supporting engineering students at ASU. In addition to our core focus on technical workshops, industry seminars, and tech talks, we offer valuable professional services that include resume-building and networking opportunities for students. Notably, our dedication was acknowledged when we received the 'Outstanding Large Student Branch of the Year' award in 2018 during the annual IEEE Phoenix Section awards ceremony. The IEEE ASU Board consists of 20 elected officers each academic year, and we are proud to boast a membership of over 600 active individuals from various educational degree levels. Every member holds an officer position, which provides them with abundant opportunities to lead, plan, and execute events. Each officer is empowered to work on their own innovative ideas and bring them to fruition. As part of the IEEE Student Branch, we actively promote the development of strong leadership skills, a sense of responsibility, improved communication abilities, and a commitment to technical ethics. We offer a platform for members to explore their ideas in the realm of science and technology, access a digital library, collaborate on projects, network with industry professionals, and gain a closer look at job opportunities in their field.
