iFAST is developing a game-changing, rapid antimicrobial susceptibility test, that will enable every patient with bacterial infections to receive the right antibiotic, on time, every time.
Currently, these tests take 48-72 hours, but iFAST's tests are 10x faster - giving full quantitative and qualitative results in under 3 hours from a positive blood culture or bacterial isolate.
The technology is cheaper and involve less tedious manual labour than current standard of care, which is based on technology from the mid-1900s! We also offer high throughout (most labs only need one system to accommodate all their requirements).
This is a $4bn market and we will be launching on the UK market in H1 2025, and in the US and Eu the following year.
