The IFMR Graduate School of Business at KREA University is a leading business school with the objective of moulding ambitious young men and women into competent and socially responsible organisational leaders in a global setting. IFMR’s curriculum offers a mix of theory with simulated real life exposure and endeavours to shape global business practices through inventive, sharp thinking and cutting-edge research. IFMR currently offers full-time MBA and part-time certificate programmes, a Ph.D programme as well as both open and customised management development programmes. Established in 1970 as a not-for-profit society, IFMR was sponsored by ICICI, the House of Kotharis and other major industrial groups. The current Board of Governors, headed by Mr N. Vaghul, Ex. Chairman, ICICI Bank, consists of leaders of major corporations in India as well as respected academicians. IFMR is fortunate to have pre-eminent faculty members, most of whom have Ph.Ds from well known institutions in India and the United States. They have worked and consulted with both national and international organisations. Students are involved in these projects as well, ensuring continuous interaction with industry during their study years. In 2014, IFMR inaugurated a sprawling 40 acre campus in Sri City near Chennai. Located in a manufacturing hub comprising some of the world’s leading companies, the campus provides students and faculty with world class infrastructure and outstanding opportunities for collaboration with industry. IFMR offers 22 core and approximately 55 elective courses during the two-year program, spanning 8 disciplines. Unique specializations offered include Financial Engineering, Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), and Data Sciences (i.e. Business Analytics). An ever increasing base of corporates comes to IFMR regularly to recruit students from the MBA Course. We have a 100% placement record since the inception of the program.
