Indigenous and Frontier Technology Research Centre (IFTR)

Indigenous and Frontier Technology Research Centre (IFTR) was established in 2002 as a not-for-profit organization to help women in rural areas stand on their own legs by using an evolving technology – eco-friendly paper production using agricultural wastes. Over the years, with the changes in expectations of people, IFTR is engaging itself in different areas to serve the masses. IFTR is participated by retired scientists/professors and individuals from different walks of life. IFTR works with the following vision and mission Vision Design, Develop and Disseminate technologies for the Masses for Sustainable happiness. Mission IFTR aims to help maintain the society self-sustainably by carrying out programmes of social/rural importance for providing livelihood, income generation, and upliftment of the poor through various means. IFTR will strive to restore the dignity and quality of life of the masses by eliminating barriers to success through research, innovation, education, entrepreneurial development, design, develop and dissemination of simple interventions. IFTR firmly believes in bridging the indigenous and traditional knowledge, wisdom and practices and using scientific advancement to bring a transition in human life for sustainable happiness by conservation and effective use of resources. IFTR is open for collaboration with like-minded organizations / Institutions / Commercial organizations and prepared to take up research and implementation programmes/projects that suit its expertise to make this world happier. IFTR believes it requires all joining hands to make our world a better place for all to have a sustainable life.
