Indigenous Foundation for Innovative Approaches (IFIA) Uganda is a Community Based Organization legally registered in 2021 in Arua City, West-Nile, Uganda with specific operations in Arua City, Arua, Terego, Maracha, Yumbe, Madi-Okollo and Koboko districts.
IFIA Uganda’s Main focus is to provide indigenous innovative solutions to needs of the most vulnerable populations such as youth, women, children, adolescents and youth living with HIV/AIDS. Thus IFIA Uganda will contribute to SDG 1 and 3. IFIA believes that where we operate there are issues of inequality, poor access to services including water, a big refugee population that is putting enormous pressure to social services and environment. Therefore through proposed approaches and strategies IFIA – Uganda will contribute to SDGs 5 that addresses gender equity, SDG 10 and SDG 13 that addresses issues of climate action.
