About Students of Cultural Anthropology Journal
The Students of Cultural Anthropology Journal (SCAJ) is an academic journal by and for students of Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University (UU) and University College Utrecht (UCU). Our mission is to empower undergraduate and graduate students of anthropology in Utrecht to feel that their work matters. As such, we work to create a collaborative and independent intellectual space for all students. We publish two editions of our journal each year, containing written work from anthropology students in Utrecht. Our platform serves as a space for students to explore, develop, and showcase their academic and editorial skills, in the form of writing, reviewing, reading, and participating through other means.
