IGG (Inclusive Green Growth Department) advocates access to and sustainable use of natural resources for everybody. The department is responsible for the Dutch foreign policy on the following themes, grouped into four teams:
- Climate
- Water
- Food security
- Energy, raw materials and polar regions
IGG responds to both the interests of developing countries as well as that of the Netherlands. We combine political and strategic knowledge and commitment to our themes through the use of financial support. The Sustainable Development Goals are an important guideline for our work. Cooperation with businesses, social organisations and knowledge institutions is indispensable in our approach.
