यथा ह्येकेन चक्रेण न रथस्य गतिर्भवेत्। एवं परुषकारेण विना दैवं न सिद्ध्यति।। Just like a Chariot cannot Move with one Wheel, We cannot attain our Destiny without Hard work An industry ready cohort of dynamic, versatile and diversely experienced Officers from the Indian Armed Forces planning to transition to a corporate career, undergoing a custom designed Certificate Program in Global Supply Chain Management (CPIGSM) at IIM(Indore). The experience profile of the cohort ranges from 10 years to 20+ years in diverse fields of Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, Quality Control & Management, HR and Administration. CPIGSCM is a residential program for Officers of the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) transitioning from the military to the corporate. CPIGSCM is a joint initiative of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) and the Directorate General Resettlement, Ministry of Defense. The course has been specially designed by IIM-I to upskill the defence officers having vast and diverse experience with corporate management knowledge and complex tenets of global supply chain, which is the need of the hour and to facilitate their smooth transition into the corporate world. The group consists of 50 officers from the Indian Army, Navy & Airforce who after having gained rich experiences in the Armed Forces are now venturing into the Pvt sector with the aim of making a positive impact and contribute in growth of Industry. Amongst us are Engineers, Pilots, Logisticians and Trainers and yes, LEADERSHIP & Team Management are things we understand very well. We also bring to the table Loyalty, Dedication, Flexibility, Integrity & Innovative thinking along with a 'Never say Die' attitude that can help strengthen the foundations of any organization.
