Independent Jewellers was found in 1937 by John H. Epp. Today, the company is still owned by the same family, being run by John's grandsons Jeremy and Jonathan.
The company has changed over the years, slowly pushing its way in the mid to high-end jewellery segment. In Winnipeg, we are the only high end jewellery store, carrying globally recognized brands like Rolex, OMEGA, TAG Heuer, IWC Schaffhausen, De Beers Forevermark, Mikimoto, Gucci, and many more. We are also the only jewellery store in Winnipeg to offer a complete complement of services. A full-time goldsmith is on premises at our Notre Dame location, as well as a Gemological Institute of America trained Appraiser, and a full-time Insurance Replacement specialist.
