The ASCE Illinois Section recently celebrated our Centennial Anniversary and since our inception in October 1915, we have proudly represented Civil Engineers in America’s engineering hub. Geographically, the section represents Northern Illinois and the success of our members is evident in the infrastructure in and around the Chicago area. Our Board consists of over twenty active ASCE volunteers, representing 7 technical institutes, who meet monthly to discuss items relevant to the promotion and enhancement of the civil engineering profession. ASCE provides members the platform to mentor, learn and teach which makes us part of something bigger than ourselves.
