With a mission to bring seamless and real-time access to workforce development resources, Illinois workNet was launched in 2005 by the Governor’s Illinois Workforce Investment Board (IWIB). The IWIB continues to remain involved providing leadership as Illinois workNet expands. Illinois workNet is sponsored by Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity and made possible through state, local, and private sector partnerships.
