We connect and uplift community efforts to transform juvenile justice with a focus on positive youth development and community centered healing.
Currently this work is carried out through two core initiatives, the Youth-Serving Agencies Network (YSAN) and the Imagine Justice AmeriCorps team. YSAN is a peer learning and support community for positive youth development programs that serve court-involved youth in Pierce County. It builds coordination and collaborations across these organizations to maximize our shared positive impact on youth and the larger community.
The Imagine Justice AmeriCorps team builds the capacity and effectiveness of youth-serving organizations in Pierce County through the placement and support of 20 AmeriCorps members. We recruit members who have identities and experiences that relate to court-involved youth, and connect them with the opportunities and support they need to be leaders in the community.
