Immiducation

Immiducation is a career and education network of immigrants by immigrants. Canada plans to welcome 1.23 million immigrants by 2023. These immigrants however are not only faced with the cultural shock of adjusting to a new country, but an environment that has a high unemployment rate and specifically, underemployment due to the barrier of “Canadian experience” especially if you are an underrepresented minority. This lack of acceptance or recognition of foreign education and work experience creates a strong divide and limits the success of an immigrant. There is a divide between what the government of Canada wants for immigration and the realities on ground for professional immigrants. Immiducation is here to bridge this gap.
