In the 1946 year, Luís de Sousa Gonçalves creates a small company to manufacture metallic furniture to supply offices, schools and hospitals.
On late 70’s IMO reaches its domestic market leadership on hospital furniture supplies.
The decade of 90’s was time to internationalize the company, being today a major European hospital beds manufacturer. We are a global player and we supply hospital beds to about 60 countries, all over the world.
Our industrial plan has a covert area of 7000 square meters and a team of 120 people with workshops of metal-mechanics, epoxy coating,, woodwork and 2 assembly lines.
