Imsal

IMSAL (the International Muslim Students’ Association of Leuven) represents Muslim students who come from every corner in Belgium and the world to pursue their studies at KU Leuven and other educational institutions in Leuven. We not only help new students get familiar with the student life in Leuven, but also support the integration of the Muslim individuals in the Belgian society, help students in their studies, provide recreational opportunities, and of course support them in learning and practicing their religion. IMSAL was founded in 1984 and since then IMSAL has always committed itself to achieving a high level of diversity in terms of gender, nationality and culture. We strive to make everyone feel at home in our meeting space, and currently more than 20 nationalities are represented amongst our members.
