We are a studio—a vital, fertile place of discovery and invention. A studio is as much a space to experiment and discover as to produce. It is a culture and a community, a process not a formula.
We are new, but we have a long history. IN STUDIO grew out of Christoff:Finio Architecture, the internationally acclaimed firm Martin Finio co-founded in 1999.
IN STUDIO is an invitation. An invitation to engage with us in making serious work and to have fun doing it. Our process is rooted in curiosity and discovery. Our method is to pose the right questions and find new ways to answer them. We work through design challenges with open minds: sketching, modeling, prototyping, and optioning until solutions reveal themselves. Through this process, we make spaces that are distinguished by their approachability, craft, sophistication, warmth, and detail. In all our projects, we treat sustainability as fundamental to good design.
