Inavant exists to build reliable, secure, and effective industrial control systems and networks, and enable our clients to steward their people and equipment using 21st century standards and industry best practices. Modern industry relies on reliable data flow for information on production, equipment, product tracking, alarming, and historical insights. We define data flow as curated information that provides insight into what equipment is in use, its health, how it is connected (and to what), how it is operating, and the process data that the equipment is continuously generating. While our cornerstone is automation and control systems, it is only one of the disciplines that serves as a foundation of what it is that we really do, which is ensuring reliable data flow, and providing access to the heartbeat of our client’s systems. The way we see the future of industry, if we can ensure that automation systems are operating securely and reliably, and they are attached to a secure network following cybersecurity best practices, then we can enable data flow out of the equipment and into the hands of the people who run and maintain facilities. Some company-wide benefits of this modernization are equipment and process tracking, diagnostics, trending, alarming, reporting, visualizations, and remote access. Following that, we offer long-term support agreements tailored specifically to each system, where we could assist managing these systems in depth, from overall system health, networking guidance, and remote access controls, down to the component level where we can manage hardware obsolescence, build upgrade roadmaps, keep program backups, and provide remote support. Finally, we build customized training for E/I so they can understand how their systems work and how to use them, which is valuable for both new hires and for refreshing area veterans. These classes range in scope from basic to advanced, and are tailored to specific processors or machines.
