These are all great sayings that form the basis of what we do and how we are going to do it. We’re heavily community focused, with the goal of game creators of all skill levels helping other game creators. Inchworm is here to evolve, upskill and just generally improve all members, while staying positive and transparent throughout.
Our personal adage is "an inch a week." A project moving forward—even an inch a week—is a HUGE success. Learning a tool, a language, or even how to better work in a team even just a little is AMAZING. Never underestimate the value of incremental change. That’s a main pillar of how we are going to operate in our community—and make no mistake—regardless of whatever else we do, Inchworm is community first!
If you don’t yet get it—we are focused on the people over all else. Not even speaking to the larger business community and the problems therein, but the videogame industry is BROKEN. Layoffs during record profit years, crunch, lack of upward mobility…we could go on. We’re here to try to be better while also meeting cool people and making cool shit.
