The focus is on: • Management: managing day-to-day, month-to-month, and year-to-year operations – including finance, HRM, and quality management. • Strategy: leading strategy and business plan development processes and translating strategic objectives into specific action plans, particularly against the background of major changes. • Collaboration and influencing: working in complex (international) settings involving a broad range of different types of stakeholders. • Media and ICT: from traditional, mainstream media (f.e. radio, television) to 'new' communication platforms and tools (f.e. internet, social media). • Capacity development / (higher) education: building, strengthening and maintaining capacity at the individual and organizational level (with a focus on adult education, e-learning, blended learning, curriculum development). • Public-private partnerships: creating added value by forming alliances of public and private parties in order to achieve common objectives.
