iAは2005年にスイス人デザイナーにより、東京で設立されたインターフェイスデザインの会社です。代表のオリバー・ライヒェンシュタインによる「ウェブデザインの95%はタイポグラフィ」という理念に基づき、本質的な情報デザインを追求しています。
Apple社のBest of Mac Appsに複数回選出されたテキストエディタ『iA Writer』の開発や、主要なWebサイトを東京の地下鉄路線図に当てはめたインフォグラフィック『Web Trend Map』などで知られ、2023年には革新的なプレゼンテーションソフト『iA Presenter』をリリースしています。
こうした自社のプロダクト開発と並行し、東京オフィスではクライアントワークを通じて、デザインによる課題解決や業界の変革を目指しています。主に国内外のテレビ局、新聞社、出版社、外食グループ企業といった大手クライアントと取引し、WebやアプリケーションのUI/UXデザインを手掛けています。
