“Igers was born on January 20th 2011” "Instagram is like Twitter but with pictures” That would probably be the easiest way to describe Instagram… but it’s really much more than that. Instagram unearths your creative side and gets it flowing. It allows you to make artistic pictures even if you always thought you were the least creative person on earth, and last but not least, it makes you part of an international and multicultural community that is really into sharing. Communicating with others is a unique and fulfilling human experience and that’s just what Instagram allows you to do: share your life, feelings, sensations, experiences and advice… In 2011, as a hobbyist, Philippe González started a blog called www.Instagramers.com and founded the Instagramers Network, the most important Instagram fans’ association in the world to date. Instagramers or IGers are a congregation of millions of members in more than 80 countries. In 2014, Philippe inaugurated the very first Instagramers Gallery at Fundación Telefonica, Madrid, a place where mobile photography is considered as a new form of social art.
