InstituteQ

InstituteQ is the Finnish Quantum Institute jointly founded by Aalto University, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, and the University of Helsinki. Our goal is to raise the readiness of Finnish society for the disruptive potential and implications quantum technologies will have for society and the economy at large. InstituteQ hosts the Finnish Quantum Flagship, which is an eight-year project funded by the Research Council of Finland and its various host organisations with the aim of shaping Finland into a quantum-ready society. It accomplishes this task through the initiation of new business and research endeavors; attracting, training, and retaining top local and international talent; providing open-access trainings to the public; and activating new international relationships in the Nordics, Europe, and beyond.
