A transpartisan 'Thriving Together' Democracy & Civic Health Movement of many Movements is growing & evolving. IMIP's mission is to help catalyze the inter-movement connections, capabilities, strategies and collaborative action required to generate the collective impact needed to counter anti-democratic forces and foster a thriving together democracy and future.
Our main offerings / functions include:
* Convening, curating, & facilitating generative inter-movement forums (Zoom meetings, in person gatherings and online social networking spaces).
* Growing a community of inter-movement stewards, leaders, ambassadors and change agents.
* Cross-pollinating and connecting key in person convenings and "Zoom" forums for greater alignment and cooperation between pro-democracy movements
* Incubating “high leverage & impact” synergy projects between diverse movement fields and unlikely allies that share common cause and concerns for defending and strengthening our democracy
IMIP's on-going mission and work is to realize Rachel Kleinfeld's Strategy #4 as described in her Five Strategies to Support US Democracy September 15, 2022 paper.

Our work revolves around our 'snowball" one -one conversations, our generative forums and our meshwork of digital social networking spaces that foster “wide bridges” of relationship, mutual support and strategic collective impact cooperation between political reformers, social bridgers, social justice advocates, community organizers, citizen/civic leaders, systems change agents, philanthropists, civic health stewards and constituency groups at the national, state and local levels.
