The company's CEO has been working on the space industry for 25 years; originally as an advanced propulsion engineer with specific interest in using chemicals from the moon and Mars for propellant in rocket engines; a concept known as "In- Situ Resource Utilisation". Research in this field continues via an in-house effort. Around 20 years ago, he founded a consultancy to assist developing and emerging space nations to obtain space technology while placing an emphasis on maximum levels of technology transfer. This includes systems and subsystems level training, establishing a ground station and introducing a satellite engineering laboratory so client nations can progress on their own, without (or with minimal) foreign assistance.
