Interreg Delfin

The DelFin project promotes social entrepreneurship in rural regions which face special transformation challenges related to advancing economic and social innovation. Key facts about the project: - Interreg Central Europe Programme - Programme priority: 1. Cooperating on innovation to make CENTRAL EUROPE more competitive - Programme priority specific objective: 1.2 To improve skills and entrepreneurial competences for advancing economic and social innovation in central European regions - Project duration: April 2019 – March 2022 - Project budget: 1.918.901 EUR The project will allow a transnational mutual learning process of partners with different experiences, but similar challenges. During this project the partners will: - develop a toolbox for promotion of social entrepreneurship in rural areas; - implement four pilot projects for testing toolbox for promotion of social entrepreneurship; - implement eight capacity building seminars with focus on municipalities and finance institutions; - carry out four action plans for promotion of social entrepreneurship in rural regions to ensure sustainability and mainstreaming of project results. Project partners: - Development Bank of Saxony-Anhalt and Merseburg Innovation and Technology Center (DE); - Hajdú-Bihar County Government and IFKA Public Benefit Non-Profit Ltd. for the Development of the Industry (HU); - Town of Duga Resa and Brodoto (HR); - Giacomo Brodolini Foundation and Finpiemonte (IT) They work together to enhance funding for business support structures for social entrepreneurship and to further develop finance and funding instruments for social enterprises.
