Interreg NWE DeCarb-Pro

DeCarb-Pro aims to reduce carbon emissions resulting from procurement by local authorities in North-West Europe by implementing carbon pricing in tenders put out by local authorities. The project has a total project budget of 5,8 Mio. EUR, with EU-funding of 3,5 Mio. EUR and a project duration from 2023 to 2027. CO2 pricing ultimately reduces a country's overall emissions. Indeed, companies are encouraged to compete with each other by offering products and services that also include environmental costs.
