In 1937, Dr. Glenn C. Forrester discovered and patented a process for capturing alcohol from a breath sample. The result was the development of a portable, roadside instrument used to collect evidence in suspected drunk driving cases. Eight years later, Dr. Forrester founded Intoximeters and today, second and third generation family members own and operate our business. Intoximeters is passionate about breath alcohol testing -- not only providing superior instruments in our entire line of Handheld Alco-Sensors, Portable Breath Testers, and Desktop Analyzers, but also offering comprehensive support through training in the operation and maintenance of our instruments and software.
