Invasion Science (InvasionS) Group at BIOPOLIS-CIBIO was created to tackle the global challenges of biological invasions through interdisciplinary research and innovation.
Our work is structured into four core themes:
1️⃣ Status and Trends – Understanding the past, present, and future of biological invasions.
2️⃣ Drivers and Impacts – Identifying drivers and quantifying impacts.
3️⃣ Policy and Society – Addressing the needs of policymakers, businesses, and society.
4️⃣ Synthesis and Future – Synthesizing knowledge to anticipate challenges and foster transformative change.
📚🛰️ We make use of innovative data and apply cross-cutting methodologies, including models and scenarios, remote sensing, digital data, socio-cultural approaches and research synthesis.
