Biodiversity Meets Data

BMD will build a Single Access Point providing natural resource managers and policymakers with access to: ▫️ biodiversity monitoring tools incl. image, sound, e-DNA + AI taxon identification services ▫️ co-designed Virtual Research Environments (VREs) for terrestrial, freshwater and marine realms ▫️ a Web-GIS Map Viewer for data exploration The VREs will feature tools for biodiversity monitoring, identifying & analysing drivers of change and projecting climate & land cover impacts on species and habitats. BMD’s tools will be co-designed and co-developed with stakeholders, ensuring user input guides every stage.
