We provide researchers with access to over 200 sites across Europe and biogeographical regions, establishing and offering harmonized and standardized data, services and training useful to citizens and experts in their joint efforts to come up with sustainable solutions to the Grand Societal Challenges. The European long-term ecosystem research (eLTER) aspires to the well-being of humans through sustainable interactions with Nature. Our research excellence enables scientific discovery and insight to confront and overcome the global environmental challenges.
