Irrigation Saskatchewan

Irrigation Saskatchewan serves as the unified voice for irrigation interests within Saskatchewan. Our research team conducts field demonstrations in collaboration with producer co-operators across the province, testing ideas sourced from irrigators, industry stakeholders, and research at the Canada-Saskatchewan Irrigation Diversification Centre (CSIDC). Our research is based at the CSIDC in Outlook. The team conducts irrigation related research and demonstration projects testing ideas sourced from irrigators and industry stakeholders. Our policy team is dedicated to expanding irrigation practices while prioritizing the efficient utilization of Saskatchewan’s water resources. We are dedicated to advocating the values and advantages of irrigation to all citizens, aiming to foster the province’s growth and economic prosperity both presently and in the future. We aim to bridge a gap where the development of irrigation policies start with producers and are then endorsed by decision-makers.
