Indonesia Services Dialogue (ISD) Council

ISD is the only council for services sector in Indonesia, which specifically advocating for policy and regulatory reforms to promote growth and greater efficiency in Indonesia's services industries. ISD was founded under the collaboration of government (Ministry of Trade), businesses (APINDO & KADIN), and academic (CSIS Indonesia). Our members include prominent services companies ranging from consultancy, transportation, and fin-tech, to food and hospitality. Benefits of Joining ISD: - Advocacy and Commercial Diplomacy: Being part of domestic/international advocacy and commercial diplomacy forum that connects and influence policymakers and other stakeholders in the services sector. - Involvement in Policy Recommendation: We gather aspirations and views from businesses – based on their expertise and experiences in the industry – to help policymakers create a more business-friendly regulatory framework. - Involvement in Trade Negotiations: We support the Indonesian government in providing business intelligence requirements for negotiations regarding trade in services. - Tripartite Dialogue: We build a tripartite collaboration between business, academia, and policymakers (government) by creating dialogues addressing issues faced by services businesses. - Private Consultancy: We connect our members to national and international experts including academics, key business figures, regulators, etc. - Dialogue Series: Members can participate in our series of dialogues which include public dialogue forum, media outreach forum, courtesy meeting with key regulators, and local empowerment dialogue series on services. - International Linkage: Our network include APEC, International Trade Centre, Asia Pacific Services Coalition (part of APEC Group on Services), and services coalition groups in other countries.
