To-day ISL is one of the leading broker of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. Mr. Mohammed Mohiuddin, FCMA Managing Director of Island Securities Ltd is one of the Sponsors of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. He was on CSE founding Board. Mr. Nayeem Uddin, Director of ISL is one of the few who had started carrier as Authorized Representative on 10th October 1995. He looks after business of ISL under the guidance of Managing Director, Mr. Mohiuddin is a Professional Accountant, Past President of ICMAB National Council (1995). Deputy Managing Director of Azim Group and Audit Manager of Glaxo Bangladesh Ltd. (Now Glaxo SmithKline). ISL is a Private Limited Company registered under companies at 1994 on 10th January 1996 with paid up capital of Tk. 2.5 million. Present paid up capital is Tk. 210.00 million. Island Securities Ltd acquired a membership of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd in June 2008 (Membership - No 106). It is a family owned company.
