ISSNAF is a volunteer-based organization with the mission to connect, empower and celebrate the Italian Intellectual Diaspora in North America. 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
ISSNAF has a network of over 3000 Italian scholars, researchers, and technologists in NA in all disciplines. The ISSNAF CHAPTERS support the mission in their geographic area and bring members together with networking/educational events in partnership with local organizations.

Our PARTNERS are academic/research organizations, corporations engaged in science/technology, and government institutions that sustain our programs, receive assistance, or cooperate in synergistic programs.

ISSNAF was established in 2007 by 36 prominent Italian scientists and scholars in NA, including 4 Nobel Prize winners, under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Washington DC.
ISSNAF is honored to be under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.
