IT Computer Wiz Kids

IT Computer Wiz Kids was formed for the advancement of youth and young adults in information technology (IT) and computer learning for educational and charitable purposes. The Mission of IT Computer Wiz Kids is to give youth the confidence to pursue a profession in the field of Information Technology (IT) and the computer industry in a fun and exciting learning environment; and to encourage job and career preparation that will prepare youth for success in life. Mr. Cooper formed this organization to specialize in the training of youth & young adults in information technology, computer education and computer troubleshooting/repair. This venture began as a way to help his teenage son focus his intellectual energy in a positive manner. His son, dispite disinterest in other classes, showed great interest and capacity with learning about computers. Mr. Cooper took it upon himself to teach his son as much as he could about computers from the inside out. The program is designed to teach the fundamentals of computers and train youth to become teachers to other young people interested in computers. As their confidence grows these young trainees will learn to teach, mentor, and train other students as consultants under the IT Computer Wiz Kids organization. As the organization grows, the recruitment/training process continues outward to attract experienced IT professionals who show a desire and passion to prepare youth and young adults for careers in information technology.
