At IT IS WELL CBO, we are on a mission to build a sustainable and empowered community by addressing social, political, and economic challenges at the grassroots level. Since our inception in 2022, we have been actively involved in programs that focus on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Gender Equality and Equity, Psychosocial Support, Gender-Based Violence, HIV Prevention, Civic Rights, Climate Change, and Adolescents and Young People Programs.
Vision:
To build a Sustainable Community for the vulnerable population through political and socioeconomic development.
Mission:
- To uplift and empower the vulnerable population by actively engaging them in developmental and sustainable projects through innovative practices.
Key Programs:
1. The Triple Threat: Working towards zero tolerance for the triple threats of new HIV infections, gender-based violence (GBV), and teenage pregnancies.
2. Climate Action: Initiatives in environmental conservation, tree planting, organic farming, and climate change mitigation.
3. Mental Health and Psychosocial Support: Providing essential support to victims and survivors of GBV and other socio-economic challenges.
4. Gender Equality, Equity, and Inclusion: Active promotion of gender equality through awareness programs and policy advocacy.
5. Legal Aid and Advocacy: Protecting the rights of vulnerable populations with a focus on children and women.
